Located in the Kolkata Leather Complex, our state-of-the-art tannery is equipped with the latest technology and staffed by skilled professionals who are passionate about their craft. We specialize in leather tanning, a process that involves the use of many chemicals. As a responsible corporate citizen, we understand the importance of protecting the environment, and we take great care to ensure that our operations are as sustainable as possible.
To that end, we have implemented a comprehensive effluent treatment process at our in-house pre-treatment plant. This allows us to segregate suspended and dissolved particles from the effluent before sending it on to the Common Effluent Treatment Plant run by the Calcutta Leather Tanners’ Association for further treatment. By doing so, we help to ensure that our operations have minimal impact on the environment.
In addition to our commitment to sustainability, we also take advantage of India’s long period of rainfall by practicing rain harvesting. This allows us to make the most of Mother Nature’s gift, using harvested rainwater in our leather-making process.
Our tannery has the capacity to produce over 100,000 wallets and 28,000 bags per month, and we are always innovating to find new ways to increase our production and serve our customers better. We work with a wide variety of leather types, including all types of DD, finished leather like Natural dry milled, Nappa, vintage look leathers, tumbled, dyed bags, and many more.
